[Long pause. Roxas had his suspicions but didn't really want to admit to them because he didn't want to think that his best friend was here, sort of, and have no clue who he was. Now he knows what Axel went through]

Sora was older before, but then he disappeared and came back like he is now. Ven must be from the past, since Lea knows him. Everyone seems to come from a different time.

The last thing I remember before coming here was that I was supposed to wake Sora up, in Twilight Town.

[little bit of a pause and looking away.]

What about you?

I heard about that, about the future.

I guess it's different here. That we can all exist together.

[There's a silence, for a bit. Roxas is trying to find the right words]

A few weeks ago, there were these ghost pokemon that caused a fog that gave you nightmares. And I saw...some. That guy in red was there, from Twilight Town, and he kept saying that I shouldn't be here. That if I didn't go back, Sora wouldn't wake up. And Axel was there, and someone else...I think it was Xion...I just, wanted to get away and think after that.

What I saw...isn't your fault. It's just...I'm allowed to be here, right? I can keep being me.

I know. I hadn't planned to.

I'm not entirely alone. My pokemon are with me.

Maybe, if I can get the badge soon, I'll come back to Violet. Before continuing on to Goldenrod.

[Roxas nods]

Yeah, he's my pikachu. He was my first pokemon, except he was a pichu then.

[Sparky has sort of taken up the entire screen and is waving enthusiastically.]
